Birth Control and Suicidal Thoughts?

I have been feeling extremely weird lately , very depressed and since the past week I have been having suicidal thoughts. I have never felt this way before, i'm not the type of person to get so depressed and i have never felt suicidal until recently. It's gotten to the point where I have to force myself not to hurt myself. I started taking Yasmin birth control 2 months ago and ever since then i have been very depressed, and now the uncontrollable suicidal thoughts. Is this a symptom from this particular birth control? Is it possible that a birth control pill can make you feel this way
