How to ski metal pipe?
First off it is better to have twin tips. There are different approaches for different types of things. The main key though, is to have bent legs and go fast. You have better balance when you are going faster. For rails, though (the metal pipe you were talking about), approach it going fast and straight. When you leave the jump, turn 90 degrees in the air and keep your legs bent, even in the air. Then, when you land on the rail, bend your legs a little more, but make sure you are still looking downhill. Make sure the rail you are on is on the sweet spot of your skis. This will not only keep your balance, but it will also make you look more stylish. ALSO, DO NOT LEAN TOO FAR BACK. When you are about to leave the rail, just turn 90 degrees when you are off the rail.
